gaming group
Tabletop session regulars
A gaming group is a regular gathering of people who play games together, typically tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons or board games.
The term implies an ongoing arrangement rather than a one-time session: My gaming group meets every Thursday night.
Members often maintain the same group for years, developing shared histories and inside jokes around their campaigns.
