Full mount is a dominant grappling position where one fighter sits astride an opponent who is lying on their back, knees straddling the torso.
From here, the top fighter can strike downward or attempt submissions while the bottom fighter struggles to escape.
The position is central to mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu: He worked his way into full mount and ended the fight with ground and pound.
