frisbee golf
Basket-throwing sport
Frisbee golf is a sport where players throw flying discs toward a series of metal basket targets, attempting to complete each hole in the fewest throws.
Also called disc golf.
Courses are typically set in parks with wooded terrain: There's a frisbee golf course behind the rec center.
The game follows golf's basic structure—tee areas, fairways, par scores—but uses specialized discs rather than balls and clubs.
