freefaller
Gravity's willing passenger
A freefaller is someone who freefalls—descending through air without a deployed parachute or other restraint.
The term applies to skydivers during the portion of a jump before opening their chute, and to BASE jumpers, wingsuit fliers, and others who experience unimpeded gravitational descent: The freefaller plummeted for forty seconds before pulling the cord.
