freefallers
Parachutists before pulling
Freefallers are people who freefall—dropping through air without resistance, typically skydivers during the portion of a jump before deploying their parachute.
The term extends to anyone or anything in uncontrolled descent: The stock market's freefallers finally hit bottom.
Figuratively, someone whose life is spiraling may be called a freefaller.
