forehands
Racket's forward strikes
Forehands is the plural of forehand, a stroke in racket sports where the palm faces the direction of the swing: Her forehands were devastating today.
The term contrasts with backhand.
Forehand also describes the part of a horse in front of the rider, and a position of advantage or superiority, though these uses are rare.
