fire and forget
No guidance needed
Fire and forget describes a weapon or system that requires no further guidance after launch—the user fires it and walks away while it finds its own target.
The term extends to any action requiring no follow-up: I sent a fire-and-forget email to the whole team.
In computing, it describes operations that don't wait for confirmation before proceeding.
