fighter kite
Dueling sky toy
A fighter kite is a highly maneuverable kite designed for aerial combat, where fliers attempt to cut opponents' lines or force their kites down.
Traditional fighter kites are small, lightweight, and typically single-line, allowing quick directional changes.
In some traditions, the line is coated with ground glass or abrasive material to sever other lines: The fighter kite dove and sliced through his opponent's string.
