famous personalities
Well-known public figures
Famous personalities are well-known public figures—celebrities, politicians, entertainers, athletes, or other notable individuals who attract widespread attention.
The phrase appears often in tabloid journalism and entertainment coverage: The magazine featured interviews with famous personalities.
It tends toward the redundant, since personality in this sense already implies fame.
