Extroverting is the act of directing energy outward toward people and external activities.
The term comes from psychology, where extroversion describes a personality orientation toward social engagement: She's been extroverting all week at the conference and needs time alone to recharge.
The word is somewhat clinical, more common in self-help and personality-type discussions than everyday speech.
