exit hole
Where bullets leave
An exit hole is the opening where something passes out of or emerges from a material or body.
In ballistics and forensics, it's the wound where a bullet leaves the body, typically larger and more ragged than the entry hole: The exit hole in his back suggested a high-caliber round.
The term applies similarly to other projectiles or burrowing creatures leaving visible damage: exit holes from wood-boring beetles.
