epilog

Story's final section

Epilog is a variant spelling of epilogue—a concluding section of a book, play, or other work that provides closure or reflects on what came before.

The spelling without the -ue is less common but acceptable, particularly in American English: The epilog revealed what happened to the characters ten years later.
