employee unions
Collective bargaining groups
Employee unions are organizations formed by workers to collectively bargain with employers over wages, benefits, and working conditions.
The phrase is largely redundant—unions are by definition associations of employees—but it emphasizes the worker side in contexts where other types of unions exist: The company refused to recognize employee unions.
Labor union and trade union are more common terms.
