Environmental movement champion
An eco warrior is someone who takes aggressive or confrontational action to protect the environment.
The term can be admiring or dismissive depending on the speaker—environmentalists may wear it proudly, while critics use it mockingly for those they consider extreme: Eco warriors chained themselves to the bulldozers.
The hyphenated eco-warrior is equally common.
