eagle hunting
Predatory bird pursuit
Eagle hunting is the practice of using trained eagles to pursue and capture prey, traditionally practiced in Central Asia, particularly by Kazakh and Kyrgyz hunters.
The hunter, called a berkutchi or eagle hunter, develops a partnership with a golden eagle over years of training.
Eagle hunting has been practiced in Mongolia for thousands of years.
