dropdown menus
Clickable option lists
Dropdown menus are interface elements that reveal a list of options when clicked or hovered over, then collapse when a selection is made.
The name describes the visual behavior—a menu that drops down from a button or header.
They're standard in software and websites for navigation, form inputs, and settings: Select your country from the dropdown menu.
Also spelled as one word or hyphenated.
