drama festivals
Acting showcase events
Drama festivals are organized events where theatrical performances are presented, often competitively.
Schools, community theaters, and professional companies participate in drama festivals to showcase plays, receive critical feedback, or compete for awards.
Some festivals focus on new works, others on classical repertoire: The one-act play won best production at the state drama festival.
