double tapped
Hit twice quickly
Double tapped describes having received two quick taps in succession, most commonly referring to the heart icon on Instagram or similar social media platforms to indicate a like.
I posted the photo and it got double tapped within seconds.
The term also applies to the shooting technique of firing two rapid shots at a target, a standard practice in tactical training.
In touchscreen contexts, double tapped means a screen element received two quick touches to activate a function.
