double switch
Two-player baseball swap
A double switch is a baseball maneuver in which a manager substitutes two players simultaneously, strategically placing them in each other's batting order positions—typically to delay when the pitcher's spot comes up.
Outside baseball, double switch describes any simultaneous swap of two elements: They pulled a double switch on the seating arrangements.
