double-barrelled
Twin-barreled gun style
Double-barrelled describes something with two barrels, most commonly a shotgun with two parallel barrels that can fire in quick succession.
The term extends to compound surnames joined by a hyphen: She kept her double-barrelled name after the divorce.
A double-barrelled question contains two parts that should be asked separately.
In British English, spelled with two l's; American English typically uses one.
