door sweeps
Gap sealers underneath
Door sweeps are strips of flexible material attached to the bottom edge of a door to seal the gap between door and threshold.
They block drafts, dust, insects, and light from passing underneath.
Most are made of rubber, vinyl, or brush bristles mounted on a metal or plastic carrier: We installed door sweeps to cut down on the heating bill.
