discless

Lacking optical drive

Discless describes something designed to operate without a disc—typically a gaming console, computer, or media player that relies on digital downloads rather than physical media.

A discless Xbox or PlayStation lacks an optical drive, trading the ability to play physical games for a slimmer profile and lower price.
