disapparition
Instant magical teleportation
Disapparition is the act of magically vanishing from one location, used in the Harry Potter series as the counterpart to apparition (magical appearance).
A wizard disapparates from one place and apparates at another: She disapparated with a loud crack.
The term follows the pattern of "disappear" applied to magical teleportation.
