dirt cheap
Costing nearly nothing
Dirt cheap describes something priced so low it's practically worthless—as cheap as dirt, which costs nothing.
The phrase works as both adjective and adverb: I got these boots dirt cheap or dirt cheap airfare.
It suggests a bargain so good it's almost suspicious, or goods so abundant or unwanted that sellers can barely give them away.
