desynching
Falling out of alignment
Desynching is falling out of synchronization.
In gaming, a desync occurs when a player's game state diverges from the server's, causing glitches or disconnection: The lag caused everyone to start desynching.
More broadly, it describes any loss of coordination between systems or people meant to operate in tandem: Our schedules keep desynching.
