dehaze
Clear the fog
To dehaze is to remove haze or fog from something, especially a photograph or video.
The term belongs to image processing, where software algorithms reduce atmospheric distortion to produce clearer, sharper images: I used the dehaze slider to bring out the mountain details.
The word also applies literally to clearing haze from air or surfaces.
