Degassed describes something from which gas has been removed.
Liquids are degassed to eliminate dissolved air or other gases that might interfere with a process: The solvent must be degassed before use in the chromatography system.
Metals and other materials are degassed during manufacturing to prevent bubbles or weak spots.
The verb is degas.
