cybersmut

Online explicit content

Cybersmut is pornographic or sexually explicit material distributed online.

The term combines cyber- (relating to the internet) with smut (obscene content), and carries a slightly disapproving or dismissive tone: Parents worried about their kids stumbling onto cybersmut.

The word feels dated, belonging to an era when the internet itself seemed novel enough to warrant the cyber- prefix.
