counterpoison
Venom's chemical opposite
A counterpoison is a substance that neutralizes or counteracts poison—an antidote.
The word is old-fashioned; antidote has largely replaced it in medical and everyday contexts.
Figuratively, anything that counteracts a harmful influence: Education is the counterpoison to ignorance.
