conservation officers
Nature law enforcers
Conservation officers are law enforcement personnel who enforce wildlife, hunting, fishing, and environmental protection laws.
Sometimes called game wardens or fish and game officers, they patrol public lands and waterways, investigate poaching and illegal harvesting, check licenses and permits, and respond to human-wildlife conflicts.
The conservation officer cited him for fishing without a license.
Beyond enforcement, they often conduct educational outreach about outdoor safety and habitat preservation.
