compromiser
Seeks mutual agreement
A compromiser is someone who seeks middle ground or makes concessions to reach agreement.
The term can be neutral—describing a skilled negotiator who finds workable solutions—or disparaging, suggesting someone too willing to abandon principles: He dismissed the moderates as compromisers who would sell out the movement.
