comic sketch
Short funny scene
A comic sketch is a brief comedic performance, typically lasting a few minutes, built around a single premise or situation.
Sketches are the building blocks of sketch comedy shows like Saturday Night Live or Monty Python: The sketch about the dead parrot is a classic.
Unlike stand-up, sketches involve characters and scenarios rather than direct audience address.
