codirector
Joint creative leader
A codirector is one of two or more people who share directing responsibilities.
The term applies across fields—film, theater, corporate boards, academic programs: The codirectors split duties, with one handling actors and the other managing cinematography.
Unlike an assistant director, a codirector has equal authority and creative control.
