closing number
Concert's last song
A closing number is the final song or performance in a show, concert, or theatrical production—the last act before the curtain falls.
It typically aims to leave audiences on a high note or with a strong emotional impression: They brought the whole cast back for the closing number.
The term applies to musicals, variety shows, and concert setlists alike.
