Secret military commands
Closed orders are instructions to buy or sell that have been completed, canceled, or otherwise finalized.
In trading and e-commerce, orders move from open (pending) to closed once they're fulfilled or terminated: Check your closed orders to verify the transaction went through.
The term distinguishes finished business from active requests still awaiting execution.
