chowtime
Time to eat
Chowtime is mealtime, especially in military or institutional settings where meals follow a schedule.
Chow is informal for food, so chowtime is when food gets served: The bell rang and everyone headed to the mess hall—chowtime.
Sometimes spelled as two words.
