chiclet
Small coated gum
Chiclet is a brand of candy-coated chewing gum, small and rectangular with rounded edges.
The distinctive shape has become a reference point for similar objects—chiclet keyboards have small, flat, slightly spaced keys resembling the gum pieces: My old laptop had those chiclet keys.
In the plural, chiclets can mean teeth, especially white or prominent ones.
