cherrypicks
Takes only best
Cherrypicks is the act of selecting only the most favorable items from a larger set while ignoring the rest.
Someone who cherrypicks data chooses only evidence supporting their argument: The report cherrypicks statistics to make the situation look better than it is.
The term comes from literally picking only the ripest cherries.
