championship parade
Champions through streets
A championship parade is a public celebration held after a sports team wins a major title, typically featuring players and coaches riding through city streets on floats or open vehicles while fans line the route.
These parades have become elaborate civic events: The city expects two million people for the championship parade.
Also called a victory parade.
