cedar boxes
Wooden storage chests
Cedar boxes are containers made from cedar wood, valued for the wood's natural aromatic oils that repel moths and other insects.
They're traditionally used to store woolens, linens, and keepsakes: She kept her grandmother's quilt in a cedar box.
The term overlaps with cedar chest, though boxes are typically smaller.
