cantaloup
Netted orange melon
Cantaloup is an alternate spelling of cantaloupe, the round melon with orange flesh and netted rind.
The fruit is named after Cantalupo, an Italian papal estate where it was first cultivated in Europe.
Both spellings are correct, though cantaloupe dominates in American usage.
