busher
Small-time baseball player
A busher is someone amateurish or second-rate—a minor leaguer, literally or figuratively.
The term comes from bush league, referring to small-town baseball circuits where teams played in rural areas (the bush).
To call someone a busher is to say they lack skill or professionalism: Don't be such a busher.
The word carries dismissive contempt.
