bowlegs
Outward curving limbs
Bowlegs is a condition where the legs curve outward at the knees, leaving a gap when the feet are together.
The term describes both the condition and the legs themselves: He walked with a distinctive gait because of his bowlegs.
Common in infants, it usually corrects naturally.
In adults, it may result from rickets or other conditions.
Someone with this condition is bowlegged.
