Dehydrated soup starters
Bouillon cubes are small compressed blocks of dehydrated meat or vegetable stock, seasonings, and salt.
Dissolved in hot water, they produce a quick broth for soups, sauces, and cooking liquid: I dropped a bouillon cube into the rice water for extra flavor.
The flavor is serviceable but rarely matches homemade stock.
