blackout dates
No reservations allowed
Blackout dates are specific days when a discount, promotion, or benefit cannot be used.
Airlines and hotels commonly impose blackout dates during peak travel periods like holidays, when demand is already high: The reward miles can't be redeemed—Thanksgiving is a blackout date.
Employee vacation policies may also designate blackout dates when time off isn't permitted.
