be off

Start your departure

Be off means to leave or depart: I must be off—I have an early meeting.

It also describes something that's wrong, spoiled, or not functioning: The milk is off, My timing was off today.

In British usage, food that's off has gone bad.

When plans are off, they've been canceled: The wedding is off.
