bareback bronc
Unsaddled rodeo ride
Bareback bronc is a rodeo event where a rider attempts to stay mounted on a bucking horse for eight seconds using only a leather rigging—no saddle.
The rider grips a handle while the horse tries to throw them, with points awarded for spurring technique and the horse's bucking intensity.
He drew a mean bareback bronc in the first round.
