back number
Outdated magazine copy
A back number is an old issue of a periodical—a magazine or newspaper from a previous date rather than the current one: The library keeps back numbers of major journals.
By extension, it means a person or thing considered outdated or no longer relevant: He felt like a back number after the younger staff arrived.
