baby snatching

Stealing a newborn

Baby snatching is the abduction of an infant, typically from a hospital, home, or public place.

The term sometimes extends to custody disputes where one parent takes a child without legal right.

It can also describe older individuals dating much younger partners: He's practically baby snatching with that girlfriend.
