autocorrects
Fixes typing mistakes
Autocorrects is the third-person singular of autocorrect, the feature on phones and computers that automatically changes typed text to what it guesses you meant.
The feature catches genuine typos but notoriously substitutes wrong words, creating unintended meanings: My phone autocorrects "duck" to something else entirely.
As a noun, autocorrects are the changes themselves: I had to fix three autocorrects in that message.
